Please note that the next Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday 22nd November in St. Patrick’s Hall, Donaghcloney, at 8pm. As a Church, what are we expecting God to do?; what do we want to see him do in and through us? Well, let’s come together to pray to God and trust Him to provide for our needs. In our prayer meeting we come together to sing; importantly to pray, and at the end of our time together have some refreshments.

All women are very welcome to join us on a Monday evening from 8pm to 9.30pm. This month we will meet on Monday 13th & 27th November 2017, when we will be starting a new series on the “Beatitudes.”

GIFT AID –

Did you know that anyone who pays tax can claim for Gift Aid for our Church funds?  You don’t necessarily have to be working to be paying tax. Apart from tax on income from a job or self-employment, the tax you’ve paid could include: tax deducted at source from savings interest; tax on State Pension and/or other pensions; tax on

Investment or rental income; Capital Gains Tax on gains. Only UK tax counts, so if you only pay tax outside the UK you won’t be able to use Gift Aid.

You can use Gift Aid if the amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax you’ve paid in the tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) in which you make your donation is at least equal to the amount of basic rate tax the charity is reclaiming on your gift.

If you are paying tax in the UK, please consider signing a Gift Aid form or speaking to our Church Treasurer, Mr Kenneth McCoy Tel: 028 38882575 about Gift Aid. It means that we can receive an extra 25p in every £1.

Thank you for giving to the work of the gospel.

·           A PRAYER FOR REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY:

Almighty Father,

whose will it is to restore all things

in your beloved Son, the king of all:

Govern the hearts and minds of those in authority,

and bring the families of the nations,

divided and torn apart by the ravages of sin,

to be subject to his just and gentle rule;

who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever. Amen

Andrew Irwin
