Bishop visits Donaghcloney on his Bike

Monday 14th March saw Bishop David visit the Parish as part of his Bike Ride around the Diocese to raise awareness and funds for Bishops’ Appeal. Funds raised will go towards supporting two projects, one in Honduras and one in Jordan. Rev. Colin Darling and Dean Geoff Wilson have also been cycling around the Diocese with the Bishop. Our own Parishioner Albert McDowell joined the team at Margheralin for the ride to Waringstown and then onto Lurgan. A number of Parishioners gathered at Holy Trinity to welcome the cyclists and the Rector, Rev. Mark presented the Bishop with a cheque on behalf of the Parish.
